Fort Collins Field Sketching Meetup for Beginners

$0.00

Ever wanted to learn how to draw from observation? Love the idea of combining art and time outdoors?

Join us for Fort Collins Field Sketching for Beginners, where you’ll learn simple, foundational techniques for drawing what you actually see in nature. We’ll practice both zooming out to capture sweeping landscapes and zooming in to notice the small, beautiful details that often go overlooked.

Bring a sketchbook, pencil, eraser, and watercolors if you have them.

This relaxed, beginner-friendly class is taught by local artist Melanie Damore, whose colorful landscape work is inspired by hiking Colorado’s mountains, wildflowers, and skies. She’ll guide you step-by-step through approachable sketching techniques you can use on any outdoor adventure.

This is a donation class. We recommend donating $20+ to support our artist.
